Australia beat England by 10 wickets in the Brisbane Test and take a 1-0 lead in the Ashes series. Australia piled up England for 195 runs in the second innings. Cameron Bancroft, playing the debut match, batted unbeaten 82 and vice-captain David Warner scored an unbeaten 87 not out. Bancroft has faced 182 balls and has 10 fours and a six. At the same time Warner has scored 10 fours in 119 balls.
Earlier, England were stacked on 195 runs in the second innings. Captain Joe Root top scored with 51 runs from England. Moin Ali played 40 and Johnny Bairstow scored 42 runs. For Australia, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon took 3-3 wickets, while Pete Cummins got 1 wicket.
Australia restricted England to 302 in the first innings and skipper Steve Smith (141) put on 328 for the loss of 26 runs, and then took England back quickly in the second innings. Captain Steve Smith was awarded the Man of the Match award.
