China Bell Helicopter signs deal with Reignwood to sell 50 Aircrafts
The president of Helicopter Bell and President Mitch Snyder were with US President Donald Trump for a portion of his visit to Asia. Snyder was part of the Triunfo business mission because La Campana was going to sell 50 planes to a Chinese customer.
Reignwood International Investment Group Company Ltd., which has been held to own the most 505 Ranger Xs jet in the world since March, has purchased over 50. Bell said the company also agreed to act as the exclusive reseller for the 505 in China and establish a 505 delivery and maintenance center. Now, it gets that Reignwood has 110 505s.
“Between the Shaanxi Helicopter order for 100 Campana 407GXPs and the Reignwood purchase agreements for 110 Campana 505s, the demand for Bell helicopters in China has been lifted this year,” said Snyder. “This firm solidifies our relationship with Reignwood and our commitment to develop rotorcraft industry advertising in China.”
The bell has received orders for more than 200 commercial helicopters this year from Chinese customers alone.
On Monday the manufacturer announced that the 505’s type certification had been accepted by Agentina National Civil Aviation Administration. The aircraft has also been certified by Canada Transportation since December 2016 and the FAA since June.
According to news, the Triumph arrived in Beijing on Wednesday as part of its 12th day, the trip of five Asian countries. Reports say he is being sent to Vietnam on Friday.
