Fire in Mumbai Kamla Mill Compound : 14 People Died And 20 injured
In the fierce fire that took place late last night in Mumbai’s Kamala Mill Compound, 14 people lost their lives while more than 20 were injured. This fire has snatched the happiness of many houses. It also took the life of 28 years of happiness, which was celebrating his birthday with friends in the ‘1 Above’ Pub.
This incident happened due to the fire in the 2 restaurants of the Kamala Mill Compound situated in Lower Parel area. Doctor Rajesh Dere, who performed post mortem of the dead, said that everyone was killed due to knee injury.
Why a great accident happens and people suffer from knees? It is being said that there was no fire extinguishing machine in the restaurant and some were kept on the emergency door, due to which people could not get out. So did the restaurant ignore safety rules? Putting the rules in jeopardy risk people’s life? There are many more questions, whose answers need to be searched.
Why did not the people who died in the fire get out of the building as soon as possible? Was the Emergency Pathways built to exit in the event of a fire, were they not marked or were they not? Was there some illegal construction there?
Or were pub fired instruments? If yes, why not use them as a fire, why was it not used to extinguish the fire? In the pubs, the fire safety rules were ignored? Was there some such material kept there, causing fire to spread fast? According to reports, a fire show was being organized during a birthday party in the Pub? Who gave it permission?
Need to find answers to these questions and take strong action against the guilty. Mumbai Police has registered FIR in this case. Now the victims are waiting for justice. There are offices of many companies in this compound. There is also an office of Times Media Group, which has offices of ‘Times Now’, ‘ET Now’, ‘Mirror Now’ and ‘Zoom’. Transmission was affected in many channels due to fire.
