Odd – Even won’t help Delhi, Center ready to take some steps : Nitin Gadkari on Delhi pollution
Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that the central government is ready to help the Delhi government to deal with pollution, and said the rare until the car ration scheme does not help.
‘If you want to stop the pollution, the Delhi government should add electricity buses for its transport fleet, the Center is ready to help in every way possible,’ said Gadkari. Harshvardhan said in a letter.
In the letter, Gadkari suggested to create a panel of experts before deciding to take measures to deal with pollution in Delhi. Gadkari said, ‘I miss even the plan does not help.’
The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice to Central, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi governments in the petition on dust and waterfall pollution.
Explaining that this is an emergency, the Supreme Court demanded immediate action from the authorities
The Delhi High Court had issued a series of instructions to improve the air quality of Delhi on November 9.
Calling it ‘an emergency’, the High Court had asked the government to artificially create rains to consider the option of ‘cloud seeding’, because dust and particle in the atmosphere are an immediate step to reduce the substance.
He had instructed the Delhi government to seriously consider restricting against further construction in the city and as a short-term measure, the ‘strange by what’ scheme of vehicle use could apply.
