Sonam didn’t even stop from getting back at the senior journalist and columnist Shobhaa De once.
Bollywood actor, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, who has been an avid social media user in past decides to quit micro-blogging website Twitter. With all the trolls that hit Sonam recently, the fans are not very much surprised with the move. Here’s the reason behind the quitting of Padman actor:
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is known for her outspoken self and taking a stand with what is right. And for which she has been trolled many times mercilessly on Twitter. The actress has had enough spunk to tackle all these trolls with a pinch of salt. But now the time has come when Sonam decided to get off the Twitter.
She didn’t even stop from getting back at the senior journalist and columnist Shobhaa De once. Most recently, she fearlessly expressed her thoughts on the Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar case, standing by the actress in her tirade against the veteran actor who also happens to be a co-actor of her father Anil Kapoor in many films including the Welcome series and Parinda.
“I’m going off twitter for a while. It’s just too negative. Peace and love to all!” she tweeted on Saturday afternoon as she decided to bid the micro-blogging site farewell for the time being.
Sonam has been trolled earlier for wearing a bikini; wearing an oversized suit; wearing her mangalsutra on her wrist; changing her last name to Ahuja after her marriage; and wearing a ripped denim saree during Veere Di Wedding promotions, among other incidences.
I’m going off twitter for a while. It’s just too negative. Peace and love to all !

@sonamakapoor its because of people like you,who don’t use public transport or less fuel consumption vehicles.
You Know that your luxury car gives 3 or 4 km per litre mileage and 10 /20 AC’s in your house are equally responsible for global warming.

And it’s because of men like you that women find it difficult to use public transport for fear of being harassed
