Lakshmi Mittal is the President and CEO of ArcelorMittal, Ratan Tata is the Chairman of the Tata Group Emeritus and Vinod Khosla is the co-founder of Sun Microsystems.

This list includes Amazon’s founder Jeff Bezos, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, and News Corp. Executive Chairman Rupert Murdoch.

To celebrate Forbes century, the magazine created an encyclopedia of ideas from the leaders of 100 entrepreneurs, telescopes and capitalists, making it the largest collection of business essayists. In developing the list, Forbes is demanding those who have either made something with the lasting influence on the world or have performed some kind of above the area given to them.
