UIDAI people do not need to add Bank Accounts and PAN Info
The Indian Unique Identification Authority (UIDAI) has given great relief to the NRIs and the Indian Resident (PIO). The Authority said on Friday that NRI and PIO need not add other services, along with bank accounts, with the base.
However, the authority has directed the concerned implementing agencies to prepare a mechanism for confirming the status quo of such persons. The Authority has said that the Money Laundering Act-2007 and the Income-tax Act clearly state that adding bank accounts and PAN cards respectively, ‘for those people who are eligible for enrollment.

According to the authorization, all Central Ministries / Departments, State Governments and other implementing agencies should keep in mind that the basis of identity documents can be sought only from those who are eligible under the Aadhaar Act. Most NRI / PIO / OCI (Foreign Citizens of India) can not be eligible for this nomination.
The issuing body said that the issue of problems arising in front of NRI, PIO and OCI was revealed where they were demanding the basis for various services and benefits.
